Once you have registered company, one need to submit a CIPC annual return on an annual basis. The annual return need to be submitted annually in the month the company has been registered.
Failing to submit the CIPC annual return can cause that your company can be deregistered by CIPC. The process of a CIPC restoration can be timeous and frustrating.
The following information need to be confirmed to CIPC in the annual return:
- Full names and ID numbers of all directors or members
- Confirmation of address of all directors or members
- The accounting officer or auditor of the company or closed corporation
- The contact details of the directors and company
The CIPC annual return fees are calculated according to the annual turnover of the company.
When the CIPC annual return are submitted, one need to upload the latest financial statements for the company as proof of the turnover confirmed in the return.
